Ground emergency care

A coordinated response from scene to destination.

01

Emergency ground response

Ambulance crews respond to sudden illness, injury, and other time-sensitive medical calls across southern Barry County.

02

Advanced Life Support

ALS response brings paramedic-level assessment, monitoring, medications, procedures, and advanced treatment when clinically indicated.

03

Basic Life Support

BLS response provides essential assessment, stabilization, first aid, oxygen support, and safe transport for patients whose needs do not require advanced interventions.

04

Medical transport

Crews coordinate transport to an appropriate receiving facility based on clinical needs, destination capabilities, and emergency-system conditions.

Regional resources

Air medical support when distance and acuity demand it.

Helicopter medical transport

For certain time-critical patients, crews may coordinate with regional helicopter services to shorten travel time to specialized care.

Fixed-wing medical transport

When a patient requires longer-distance transfer or specialized transport, fixed-wing resources may be coordinated as appropriate.

Important: Transport method and destination are clinical and operational decisions. They depend on patient condition, distance, weather, aircraft and facility availability, and the judgment of the responding medical team.

One connected system

Dispatch, field care, and receiving facilities work together.
